Barbara Teller Ornelas and Lynda Teller Pete, from Two Grey Hills, New Mexico discuss their weaving lives from their modest beginnings to their inspiring work with the Heard Museum.
In this talk with these 5th Generation Diné Weavers we will also gain insight to their literary projects such as “Spider Woman’s Children, Navajo Weavers Today” (2018) and their up and coming instructional text, “How to Weave a Navajo Rug and Other Lessons from Spider Woman” (October, 2020).
